CallCare24 EHR is an electronic health record (EHR) system that manages patient records digitally, ensuring secure and efficient access to health information.

Q2: Can CallCare24 EHR integrate with other healthcare systems?

The system is compliant with all healthcare regulations like HIPAA, ensuring that patient data is highly secured and encrypted.

Q5: Why should I choose Callcare 24 over another EHR?

Callcare 24 EHR is built just for independent practices, and was designed by healthcare providers, so it has the key features you want and is surprisingly easy to use. Write a note, prescribe a medication, view electronic medical records and create a superbill in just minutes. Plus, we offer full customer service and training support free of charge. In recognition of this, Callcare 24 was recently listed as a Top 100 EHR by Medical Economics.

Q6: How does the integration between Callcare 24 and Billing work?

We write patient records, insurance information, and appointments to the same database so you are always in synch. We seamlessly push superbills from Callcare 24 to Billing and automatically scrub your claims to improve the success of your billing process. According to MGMA, using integrated technology like Callcare 24 can improve your overall revenue by nearly 10%.

Q7: Will my local pharmacy be listed in the EHR?

By partnering with SureScripts, we electronically prescribe to over 50,000 pharmacies across the United States. While a very small number of local pharmacies don’t yet accept electronic prescriptions, you can still print prescriptions for patients if their pharmacy is not listed.

Q8: Wasn't the Callcare 24 EHR free?

Yes, when we first launched our EHR, it was free. Our goal was to let customers get to know us as a company through the experience of using the EHR. As we developed the EHR into a fully functional and fully certified product and integrated it completely into the Callcare 24 platform, we decided to include it as part of our affordable overall solution.

Q9: Are there specific system requirements to use your EHR?

Callcare 24 is cloud-based, so all you need is a computer (PC or Mac, laptop or desktop) with a recent web browser (we recommend Firefox and Google Chrome) and a high-speed Internet connection. For Macs, we recommend Mac OSX Mountain Lion*, as the built-in voice recognition is the same as iPad and iPhone, and works great out of the box. For your PC, Dragon medical* is compatible with Callcare 24 for dictation. *Dictation software listed is not included with Call Care 24 and must be purchased separately if you need to dictate.

Remote Patient Monitoring

Q1: What is Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)?

RPM is a healthcare delivery method that uses digital technology to monitor patients’ health data outside traditional clinical settings, such as at home. It allows healthcare providers to track vital signs, symptoms, and overall health in real-time, enabling early intervention and more personalized care.

Q2: How does Remote Patient Monitoring work?

RPM devices, such as wearables or connected health devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters), collect and transmit patient data to healthcare providers via secure digital platforms. Providers then review the data to assess patients’ conditions, make treatment recommendations, or intervene if necessary.

Q3: What conditions can RPM monitor?

RPM is particularly effective for managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and asthma. It can also be used to track post-surgical recovery and general wellness.

Q4: What are the benefits of Remote Patient Monitoring?

RPM improves patient engagement, enables earlier detection of health issues, reduces hospital readmissions, and enhances chronic disease management. It also allows healthcare providers to monitor more patients without additional staffing and helps reduce overall healthcare costs.

Q5: Is Remote Patient Monitoring secure?

Yes, RPM systems use secure, encrypted data transmission to protect patient privacy. RPM platforms are designed to comply with healthcare regulations like HIPAA in the U.S., ensuring patient data is handled safely.
